Openhearth Unleashed is a family-run doggy day care in Eaglesham, set just outside the village with easy access to the M74 and M77.
We've created a relaxed, home-from-home environment where dogs can enjoy their day at their own pace. There's plenty of opportunity for play, exercise, socialising and, just as importantly, rest.
Our indoor and secure outdoor spaces give dogs the freedom to enjoy themselves whatever the weather, with activities and areas to suit different ages, personalities and energy levels.
A safe and secure environment
Your dog's safety and wellbeing always come first.
Our facilities are fully licensed and inspected, with secure indoor and outdoor areas where dogs can play, explore and relax.
Our outdoor areas give the dogs space to run, play and enjoy some fresh air, while our indoor areas mean the fun doesn't have to stop when the Scottish weather arrives!
We provide a mixture of exercise, games, enrichment and downtime, because not every dog wants to spend the whole day running around.
Pawz
For dogs who need a little quiet time, Pawz is our chill-out area — somewhere they can relax, settle down and take a break from the excitement.
They can have a snooze, listen to some music or even enjoy a little Netflix time.
Time to play, time to explore, and time to switch off.
We believe dogs need downtime just as much as they need exercise. Each day includes a quiet period where the dogs settle down and nap together. It's a lovely part of their routine and gives them a chance to recharge before the fun starts again.
Playbarn
When the weather isn't on our side, the Playbarn gives us plenty of room for indoor games and activities.
And for our more energetic guests, our outdoor areas provide space for running, playing and agility.
Whether your dog is young and full of beans, or a more senior dog who prefers a quieter day, we aim to make their time with us enjoyable, comfortable and suited to them.
Meet & Greet
Before your dog's first day, we'd love to meet you both.
A Meet & Greet gives us the chance to get to know you and your dog, show you around Openhearth and make sure our day care is a good fit for them.
Please bring your dog's most recent vaccination records from your vet to your appointment.
If you'd like to go ahead after your visit, we'll then ask you to complete our registration and consent forms.
Introducing dogs
We take introductions seriously and never rush the process.
Every dog is different. Some are confident and sociable straight away, while others need a little more time to settle in.
We'll introduce your dog carefully and at a pace that's comfortable for them. Depending on their response, they may not meet every dog during their first visit — and that's absolutely fine.
Our priority is a happy, comfortable dog who feels safe at Openhearth.

How many dogs can we take?
We take up to 10 dogs per day for day care.
What are your facilities like?
Our securely fenced area is situated on our own land, within the confines of our own grounds.
What are the requirements for my dog?
Your dog needs to be fully vaccinated and treated for kennel cough, worms and fleas. Dogs over one year should be castrated or spayed.
Is my dog suitable for day care?
All dogs must be able to interact with other dogs. If your dog is required to wear a muzzle, we're sorry we're unable to facilitate this.
Is drop off / pick up available?
A drop off and pick up service is not currently available.
